The Alameda neighborhood is located in inner Northeast Portland, in the Willamette River Watershed. It is situated along Alameda ridge, which runs west from Rocky Butte to around 15th and NE Skidmore st. Established in 1859 and annexed in 1909, it is considered a “historic” neighborhood, and has many charming old homes. Alameda neighborhood is a part of the Northeast Coalition of Neighbors.
