Pleasant Valley neighborhood is located in Southeast Portland in the Johnson Creek watershed. It is a primarily residential neighborhood with a rural feel. The neighborhood’s most notable feature is Powell Butte Nature Park. The park is built on top of an extinct cinder cone volcano, comprised of 611 acres of meadowland and forest. Powell Butte has several active reservoirs serving the City of Portland. Pleasant Valley is a part of the East Portland Neighborhood Office Coalition.
