Lloyd District is located in Northeast Portland in the Willamette River watershed. The neighborhood is bounded by the Willamette River to the south and the I-84 freeway on the east. It partially overlaps Sullivan’s Gulch, a depression stretching from the south side of Rocky Butte to the Willamette River that was once a forested riparian area featuring a spring-fed pool and waterfalls. Lloyd District today is primarily a commercial center and transportation hub centering around the Oregon Convention Center, MODA Center, and Lloyd Center Mall. Lloyd District is not affiliated with a specific neighborhood coalition.
