Mt Scott-Arleta neighborhood is located in Southeast Portland in the Willamette River and Johnson Creek watersheds. The streetcar ran through the neighborhood in the early 20th century, connecting the eastside neighborhood with downtown. There are still many streetcar era buildings left along Foster Rd. Today the neighborhood is mostly residential, with notable features including Mt. Scott park and Mt. Scott Community Center. Mt Scott-Arleta is a part of the Southeast Uplift Neighborhood Program Coalition.
