Multnomah neighborhood is located in Southwest Portland in the Tryon Creen and Fanno Creek watersheds. The neighborhood is a mix of commercial and residential, with a retail center around the Multnomah Village business district. In the early 1900’s a depot of the Oregon Electric Railway was built in the neighborhood, which quickly grew around it. It was annexed by the city of Portland on November 7, 1950. Multnomah is a part of the Southwest Neighborhoods, Inc. Coalition.
